Paraná will be the exclusive host of the softball competitions at the 13th South American Games in 2026. The Softball World Stadium will welcome the continent’s leading national teams as part of an event bringing together more than 4,000 athletes from 15 countries across Santa Fe, Rosario, Rafaela and Paraná.
The women’s competition will run from September 15 to 19, followed by the men’s event from September 21 to 25. Both titles will grant direct qualification to the Olympic qualifying tournament, making the Games a key step on the road to the Olympics.
Argentina’s national teams will look to make the most of competing at home in a city closely tied to the history of softball in the country. As part of its preparations, the women’s national team began its official training camp and final phase of work in Paraná.
